It took awhile to eat because they had a large party going on in front that took about a 1/3 of the restaurant.
Well, my friend was starving and didn't even want anything else. We ate in the more casual back room where there is a pool table .Both my husband & I decided it was the best Caesar salad we ever had followed...Nicks was here with the first of the wine makers here in the area as they compared notes and worked to put Oregon on the map for wine.The meals are wonderful and you can do the full meal or select items.You can dine in a top notch Italian restaurant and not have heavy food. Had the Dungeness crab lasagna, and it was delicious. We have a lot of ideas for you. This was neither. Esther Haddad: Excellent quality, always consistent throughout the years! Our elegant, fresh rockfish was prepared in parchment paper with leeks and potatoes and was superb. The service was impeccable and food was stellar. Excellent, Friendly and Efficient staff, one of the top top Italian restaurants in the world! I've been trying for 1 week to make reservations for a special weekend I'm planning for me and GF while visiting the area,and although dont know if...Seriously deceiving from the sidewalk... the pasta was amazing, server was very knowledgeable, even met Nick himself in the back bar after dinner!This restaurant was highly recommended to us and we were excited to try it out.
I don't mind that if you have more entrees than just pasta and pizza. We shared an order of squash and mushroom tagliatelle as a starter and it was...OK,let me start by saying this is NOT about the food...I have not eaten there...and doubt I will..!! We otherwise had a great day in McMinnville in the Farmers market, and got to munch on samples at least, so she had something, but I was upset for her.
