This movie was a Showtime original. He's a terrifying and grotesque creature. This is much more in keeping with the original tail. Set in 19th century London, Sweeney Todd has captivated audiences around the world with its dark wit, murderous melodies and haunting tale of love, revenge and mayhem. The costumes and art direction are excellent, especially since this is a TV movie (one of the best TV movies I've ever seen, because I don't usually watch them and, when I do, I usually hate it).Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends.
