this walk is not recommended at night as its an hour or so into town and its not well lit.
Lapad is also too far to walk to the Old Town, but has more shops and restaurants. We will go into the old town some nights but will stay more local on others. the rooms were kept spotless by our cleaner whose name is kate, and towels were changed everyday. It should take no more than half an hour, probably depends on how hot it is and how often you need to stop.There is a footpath which goes along the coast and comes out by the Hotel Kompas which faces Lapad bay. 3. We stayed at this hotel for 8 day,its the newest hotel of the valamar chain.The chain has 3 or 4 hotels at the Babin Kuk peninsula.Valamar Lacroma is just 3 min walk from the beach.Rooms are nicely decorated ,clean and has a good working air conditioner.Bathroom is wide and showers are good.Breakfast is just amazing .Hotel is 15 min.drive away from the old city of Dubrovnik but infront of … breakfast and lunch are buffet style and offer plenty of choice.

Answered: Can anyone tell me where about in Dubrovnik Babin Kuk is, as I read that someone enjoyed walking in this area but I can not find it mentioned as a thing to do? Babin Kuk is too far out to walk to the Old Town. they really have excellent restaurant and a lot of variety on what to eat from the buffet.
