Bowstring river, north end of Bowstring lake, connects to Sand lake via the Bowstring river where water flow through Sand lake and goes north up the Big Fork River. Prior to 2013, water clarity was consistent between the 2 lakes at about 5 - 7 ft.

How long of a leader? I prefer a circle hook to traditional offset, octopus, or baitholder hooks because they set themselves and you may get a sturgeon to set the hook on itself before you even notice the tip dancing in the rod holder.
