This particular one is somewhat different, because it had significant Canadian involvement, in order to take advantage of a tax shelter system that existed there at the time. There's a kind of politeness on display here, in the way the action is filmed, how the characters interact. Fabulous movie!

In fact, the other parts of the movie also share a great lethargic feel.

Reed and Fonda have to fight off a bunch of trucker thugs hired by a local crime boss who wants to put independent truckers like them out of business. It also had a good showdown between Fonda and his foe's mate, who holds Shaver at gunpoint. And fifteen minutes ago, you knew that people were alone on this planet. What this film does leave me with is a sense of two real, marginalised, teenagers trying to make sense of their place in the world and willing to undertake what journeys are necessary to find those places. Romantic drama?

Four different groups of friends from four different backgrounds are hitting the blvd. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it. Was this review helpful? Visiting stunt driver Rane (Peter Fonda) is riding shotgun with his friend Duke when they are attacked.
Ultimately the fact that Vaughn doesn't recognise Lena as a fellow Aboriginal underlies the whole youthful crisis of identity that is so poignantly illustrated in this film. She fails to get back on the bus at a stop. 2 out of 5 stars.

Easily labelled as simply a road-trip movie, coming-of-age film, or slice-of-life; Beneath Clouds is an unexpectedly complex story, which depicts the journey of Lena and Vaughn, two Australian teenagers of aboriginal descent, making their way to Sydney. The lots of A young actor struggling to make it in Hollywood is noticed by a film director, whose main focus is directly on him accomplishing his goal. A couple guys swashbuckling with big Ken-Tool tire irons.

Also what was great, was we got to spend some time at home with Reed's family, which very much reminded me of when I was a kid and how I used to sit around the table, talking with Dad's friends. 7 out of 9 found this helpful. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.
