We are located on The Cleveland Way walk. Located in the beautiful village of Swainby which is located in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. Our food is freshly cooked and produced in-house to a very high standard of quality. Would of spooned the extra out of serving dish if no one was looking. I had an exceptionally tasty pizza with potato skins and will definitely be going back for more. We only went in as Thirsk centre very busy on a Saturday, but we’ll return as we had an excellent experience. Is The Foresters Arms located near the city centre?

Real Ales, Great food, a proper country pub! We only had time for mains, but wouldn’t have had room for pudding. First meal at the dog and gun and I was not disappointed. Conveniently located restaurants include Mill Race Teashop, The Wensleydale Heifer Restaurant, and The Saddle Room Restaurant. Nestled under the peaks of Roova Crags and Penhill, Carlton is only six miles from Leyburn and is set within The Yorkshire Dales National Park.
