I would have given zero stars if possible for Amazon's handling of this app. What I couldn't handle, was being billed multiple times in a month. You can only reach them by e-mail, and trust me, they do not respond. I kept trying to contact customer service and only got automatically generated responses. If you read the terms and services of the app, Sundance Now, it says if you wish to cancel the free trial simply delete the app and you will not be charged. If you want to access Sundance Now on a desktop computer or on a SmartTV hub to browse and select things to watch you must sign up for Sundance Now via their WebSite. Probably the worst app we have ever tried to use.
We downloaded the Sundance Now app but immediately removed it when we saw it would cost $6.99 a month. This does not have very interesting movies and shows. Sundance Now brings you the best in original and exclusive dramas like the hit-series A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES, true crime, political thrillers, and more. It requires Require Android Varies with device to run and has been tested for viruses from Virus Total. If you add the Sundance Now APP via your Prime Account and link it to your FireTV, you can ONLY access Sundance Now selections via the TV loaded APP or your Amazon Prime account. Last, and not least, Sundance Now has absolutely NO Customer Service. With all the free aps and programs on Fire Tv I was disappointed to find that this had a trial period and then a monthly fee after that. Not so with digital content.
