★ This book really drew me in, for a lot of reasons. ★ ★
this book has the ability to trap a reader in a futuristic world. As far as I'm concerned I have now read the very best ever written. A very clever plot involving a "seed ship" and a kind of "accidental tourist" turned helpful ship captain that winds around and around. ★ ★
I originally found this book in a used-book store while in college and it has become an old friend. Definitely a really fun ride, I have to check if he wrote any more with the character, because I can see a ton more happening when you're in charge of basically a God-Vessel!So I tried to like this. I had read all 5 GOT books, so I looked at this earlier GRRM work. Another of Martin's SyFy from elsewhere but here, but I am now willing to read ANYTHING this man has written. ★ Martin, and a very addictive read indeed! Tuf, the central characater is quite strange. 8,90 € ★ A classic novel from George R.R. ★ These were written long before Martin was a household name for telling us that winter is coming, but contain the same kind of complex and detailed world view. Every time I think about it I want to get a shovel and dig it out of my garage again(I have a carnivorous garage that I keep my books in). ★
3,99 € It doesn't help that everyTuf Voyaging is a series of short stories that revolve around one central figure, but actually feels like a complete novel when the stories are compiled together. 978-0-575-11868-3 ★ Which is the counterpoint to the population control theme. ★ Let us know what’s wrong with this preview of ★ ★ There is always a good way and a wrong. ★ It's a fun read, if maybe a bit repetitive, and as with any collection of short stories, their quality is varying. That's the name of the game for all of Martin's works that I have read (which, unfortunately, includes only the Song of Ice and Fire series and this collection of short stories). ★ Martin has an outstanding gift for dialogue, and his ability to describe setting is in my mind unparalleled in the genre. ★ The concept of a seedship is the best excuse for the stories.Tolly Mune is the best character. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Like many people who have recently read "Tuf Voyaging" for the first time, I was introduced to George R. R. Martin through the outstanding "Song of Ice and Fire" series. Martin's best books! It's basically a collection of short stories, all focused on a space traveller named Tuf.
If you are a fan of science-fiction read this book. I enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it also to people not normally into Sci-FiOne of George R.R. ☆ ☆ Tuf manages to use a strict balance of morality and superior intellect to talk his way out of anything. The novel is a series of short stories combined, and it has that feel too which isn't great. ☆ Tuf manages to use a strict balTuf Voyaging was one of the coolest books I've read in a long time. If you've been following Zoraida Córdova's career, you know she is an author on fire. Failure to decide, because you lack the right, is itself a decision, First Councilor. Welcome back. ★
Tuf uses the ship's cloning devices to engineer some kind of biological solution to the planet's problem. ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend giving this book a read now that it is again available. ★ ★ ★ His solutions to the problems presented to him are always dry, often brilliant, and usually served with a side-order of humility for the recipient. ★ Every planet a new adventure, yet the characters (including cats ) develop tremendously and there are a lot of interesting plot twists. ★ ★ ★ ★ The characters in this novel are interesting, especially the protagonist Tuf. ★ ☆ Don't wait as long as I did to read it - this is a great book. He is one of those authors whose writing style is recognisable no matter what genre of book he is writing.

9,99 € The stories have an early sci-fi "space opera" sort of feel but with an ecological rather than technological focus. ★
★ But, all are very well constructed and entertaining. There were three reasons (mild structural spoilers ahead):For any George R. R. Martin fan, you should already know what to expect. I can't imagine that they really found this to be 5 star material. It's the first book I've read by Martin - after finishing it, I had to look him up to see what else he's written, and whatta you know? And cats, some how, even with fixing all my cats I'm following Tuf in numbers. I've read literally thousands of science fiction novels in the last 35 years (all the masters back to the very beginning), and Tuf Voyaging rates as one of the top five science fiction novels of all time.
☆ Tuf Voyaging is a collection of entertaining science fiction stories. ★
It's also split into 5 separate stories, so you easily stop after one of them and pick up the book again later.
