I got the US import as uncut, if you have not seen the film then you need to as it is one of the best vigilante films ever made, pretty violent and is still relevant today.

However the distributors were unsatisfied with this rating and then opted to re-edit the film in order to secure the more commercially friendly NC-16 rating. Not a lot of dull or needless character exposition, the story gets going quickly and believably. If you like the film and are tempted to upgrade, its worth a punt Despite the cuts i still think this blu-ray is worth buying as i think it is the best death wish sequel we just need paramount to get round to releasing the original death wish on blu-ray. 2:32. I wonder how many people have taken this story to the next degree and responded in kind to being brutalized by common street thugs? With Bruce Willis, Vincent D'Onofrio, Elisabeth Shue, Camila Morrone. It also removes a line in the conclusion, saying Chicago's crime rate has dropped for the first time in a year. The transfer is excellent, damage and other anomalies have been removed and leaves a crisp transfer to enjoy, my only complaint is the audio which is presented in two channel only, using DTS-HD Master Audio.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 23, 2018 The disc by Shout factory is a very good transfer considering the age of film. I am for the Death Penalty...if you aren't, this will probably offend you. I purchased this film for my dad, who saw the movie long ago and has often talked about it. He does it with a smirk with no detective or cop can identity him as a suspect. The Cops are overwhelmed and underpaid. Surprisingly well written, well acted and directed. Paul Kersey didn't ask for trouble, didn't make his family a target, and didn't ask for his family to be targeted, but when his family was targeted by street thugs and his wife was murdered, his daughter traumatized, and his life left in tatters, he said enough, stepped up to the plate, and gave back in spades!
