Upgrade to an Ocean front room. There was hand sanitizer everywhere and only 2 people on an elevator at one time.
We arrived here just before the covid19 warnings were severe. We will be back.We had a phenomenal room with phenomenal service. Rates were going up for the season the day we departed, so we got a very good deal. Sticky side note, the elevator to get to the PH was not in service on night we were there! One-bedroom suites come with a full kitchen. The rooms were clean and the view from our ocean front room was exactly what I wished for. The pool must be booked ahead of time in 1hr slots. The elevator was fixed by the time we used it again in the morning though.
The hotel location cannot be beat. We were impressed with all the safety measures they were taking. The wait staff were wearing either a mask or a shield. Own or manage this property? We had a corner room with great lighting and a lovely balcony to use for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails! Right on the water and the beach is obvs amazing. The kids had a blast in the pool.
Weather was beautiful and sunny for our stay. When we checked in and they gave us a pen to sign in, they then put it in a container after to be sanitized. A DVD player, small refrigerator and coffee maker are also provided in each non-smoking accommodation. I could just imagine elderly or disabled having to walk up all those flights. We had stayed with them in October 2019 and were very happy with the property. Great for a long stay. Enjoy luxurious accommodations and amenities including in-room dining, valet & bell service, a fitness centre and oceanfront indoor pool and hot tub.
We were only on qualicum for 3 nights at this hotel but the customer service at the front desk, the room service, the cleanliness, the promptness with requests and just the overall smiles and positivity in such a difficult time for everyone, was impeccable.
