I think the difference between her and the typical Mary Sue is that the hardships she's gone through were actual, real hardships. Arya defends jon. I will gladly accept you as my Queen, Arya Stark of Winterfell, baker of pies and carver of Freys. 27 comments. No Spoilers [No Spoilers] Made a fanart of Sansa, one of my favorite characters. I also cannot stand the actress, fame has gone to her head.classic Mary Sue. Arya Stark, where to begin. OC. Id rather her go off and do her own thing, kill some mf along the wayI agree, that is what the showrunners are trying to do, and that isn't even bad, it is the way they are doing it that is horrible. However, when she meets up with Jon, who always loved and understood her, we'll see the real Arya; she might be cold and disassociated or she might just crumble back into the Arya of the first season, plus a few emotional scars.
Everything she does is cringe. by Luke Bailey. In Game of Thrones, there are several characters that could be considered fan favorites. Please let us never return to Braavos. Also her approval of Daenarys will likely be some big thing, which I don't think anyone could care less about. In summary: She needs to die soon, she has no place in the end game of this series. r/freefolk.
She is obviously proficient with her blade, but there really isn't any indictication that she could be good enough to stand up to someone as amazing as Brieanne of Tarth (this scene just kind of disminished her character aswell, which is sad as Brieanne is so awesome). Now even though I am a huge Littlefinger fan, I am not mad he died as we really don't have time for his games. The intial scenes were promising, the Titan and the house of black and white looked exactly as expected, which is of course really cool. But his death seemed cheap, and everyone could see it coming even though it really wasn't logical. In my experience Arya is one of the most popular characters in the series, and certainly the most beloved (living) Stark. but I can't take Arya seriously. I have nothing wrong with strong female characters, there is Danny, Cersei etc. Plus not as much plot armor.New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castGot a burning unpopular opinion you want to share? 2.0k. GoT/ASOIAF sub for non-kneelers. ridiculous. I hate Arya Stark, and think she is a detriment to the entire story. I hate Arya Stark on Game of Thrones. Maisie Williams is great and has done an awesome job with Arya, but the fact remains that Arya Stark is and has always been kind of terrible. Spark some discussions!Press J to jump to the feed. She was okay for the first season but then once she picked up the Karate kid bull shit I couldn't take it. GoT should have stuck to being low fantasy the most magical thing in it should have been the guy who cut off Vary's balls. My biggest issue was when she got stabbed in the gut and was jumping around just a day later.I like Arya, but I can see she's a bit of a Mary Sue. Continue browsing in r/freefolk. She's annoyingly hypercompetent, to the point of fighting off armored knights. She's way better in the books.
Lets start with the making of modern Arya, as this is who I have a problem with. No Spoilers [NO SPOILERS] Daenerys the Conqueror. The show in general (I've only seen a handful of episodes) makes most characters a lot more inept or punishes them more to create sympathy instead of developing them more.New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castGot a burning unpopular opinion you want to share? 1 year ago. Let's have a gritty brutal medieval world but also a badass little girl! but I can't take Arya seriously. I was fully prepared to start hating her at the end of last season, but well... turns out I love Sansa even more, now. It's worse in the first book, though. Arya was actung so cold towards everyone in Winterfell (the dialogue was horrible between Sansa and Arya) even in private, to all the sudden have a secret plan with Sansa and have what felt like a forced "girls rule!" I dont like sansa. share. Ive always been one to love the lone wolves in whichever genre. I’m glad she’s grown up and trying to be useful but again, she can’t even do this without going behind Jon’s back. For example, I really like Brieanne, and she is kinda the ultra badass female type, but her character isn't forced like Arya's is. share. The entire Braavos Arya storyline was so boring and drawn out, I almost wanted to skip it.
By Christine Rivas Aug 22, 2017. Robb, Jon, Arya and Bran seem to really earn their respect. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts save hide report.
But then hit the chase scene- which it is not an unpopular opinion to say was one of the worst scene in all of Thrones.
