The car cannot be started from cold on lpg. If it were me, I'd unplug that E8 connector on the coolant temperature sensor & see if the temp gauge & the SG2 work. I was dreading it when I started the project, but to my surprise, it was a piece of cake to remove & to reinstall. Thats what happens when you tear your engine apart and don't get it all put back for about a month- things get forgotten. The other is for the ECU and has at least two wires.Hehe finally found it! I also added some stuff called archoil 6200 to the next tank, the guy at the parts shop gave me a free sample.The hesitation seems to have gone, and the car seems to be running a little sweeter now, on both petrol and lpg. Once that light goes out, car runs like a champ. I have a 2001 outback H4 the temperature gauge quit working in it so I went to NAPA and asked the guy which part it needed he gave me a temperature sender that runs the gauge. I've been searching all over the net for the answer to this.

I can't find the little one pin temperature sensor anywhere on the engine. That engine should have but one coolant temperature sensor on the water (aka crossover) pipe with a two-wire, roughly oval-shaped connector.Thanks plain om.
