My cars temperature gauge (while driving) goes down to about 1/4 but then when i stop or go idle, the temperature gauge slowly goes right to the middle. What is likely the problem? Now it gets there in about 3 minutes – or in a mile. From experience i figured it should be in between the cold and midway mark. I know a good bit about cars and i think it might be a sign or my car trying to tell me my waterpump is about to go or break very soon.
