About the only thing you don't have to do yourself is cook the food. Was super loud, couldn't even hear my husband next to me. The server was extremely helpful and the sandwich foods appeared fresh. There was some miscommunication about the goat cheese pizza and received something else. "Well I have heard nothing but praise so I had to give it a try.
Didn't even get to order, no one came to take our drink order. It's large and roomy and clean. Our server was funny and super helpful with the food. We absolutely love it here and have been coming for years, best food and best service! They have a nice salad bar, pizza, fish and chips, tacos, wraps and nice variety of beer on tap. We had the Mac n cheese burger, mushroom n swiss burger, goat cheese pizza, cheeseburger pizza, Asian wings, bucket of clams, cod fish and chips. But Seaside also offers traditional American, popular Italian, a variety of pubs, ethnic restaurants, and even a boundary-pushing bakery. It looks and smells old. We only tried the pink Dundee donut because it was adorable and we were buying for many people....Ok, so I don't usually care for grocery store type donuts and much prefer a local bakery. Their pizzas look really good too by the way, If there is one negative thing I can say about Dundee's, it's the location of their salad bar. Great atmosphere and food. With the best bar food.
Do NOT let the touristy appearance fool you, this place is the real deal.This used to be my favorite place ever. They were very good donuts— Soft and fresh! A little pricey however worth it to treat the family every so often!! When I'm back in Seaside, I'll definitely stop by here again!As an out of towner, which I'm sure this place gets a lot of, all I have to say is THUMBS DOWN! Restaurant next door and the donut shop were not the cleanest tho...The best food in the area- reasonably priced- all homemade- very friendly owner visited with us - had a lot of laughs and fun - btw “the doughnuts are to die for”.
