Stephen James Joyce (15 February 1932 – 23 January 2020) was the grandson of James Joyce and the executor of Joyce's literary estate.

PARIS, June 13 (AP)—Giorgic Joyce, the only son of the writer James Joyce, died in a clinic near Konstanz, West Germany yesterday after a long illness, the family announced here to day. Joyce’s letters to Harriet Weaver often became litanies of personal problems that he was suffering, and this letter is no exception. The evening was the beginning of a brief but very intense affair between Beckett and Guggenheim. The publication of “Ulysses,” in 1922, made Joyce a star, and there were plenty of young artistic types in Paris who thought it would be nice to be attached to his family. Nora had calculated that her baby was due at the end of August and so when she started having pains during lunch on 27 July she didn’t realise she was in labour. The Joyce family fled to Switzerland during World War II and the writer died there in 1941.Giorgio Joyce is survived by his sister, Lucia, 69, who lives in England.
